Was an AMAZING experience at Rottnest Island! The ferry was super easy to get to and from the island and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I had a blast riding a bike throughout the island and enjoyed the quokkas during my route. The beaches are to die for! Such clear water and the sand was almost pearly white. It truly is an experience everyone must have to do at least once. I for sure am coming back very soon!!!

This marked the first day of my parents first trip to Western Australia since I moved here late last year. They enjoyed themselves almost as much on the ferry down the Swan River as they did on Rottnest Island. Without this context, it would've been fair to assume that they were on a honeymoon.

Every team member we met today was absolutely fantastic, we had an amazing day! The volunteer guide team was great, super knowledgeable and really friendly. Along with the staff who drove the bus and train for the grand island tour! They made the trip fun, and a joy to experience! Rottnest Island is a must see when visiting Perth and it is truly a beautiful place to visit, my wife and I highly recommend the grand island tour.

Both the ferry service and the Grand tour were amazing. Island is bigger than I imagined. Saw lots of Quokkas! Both guides were great. Not crowded, easy to get around (with pram). Good facilities. Yummy boxed lunch. I am from Vic, was visiting family in WA. Would go again. Good value. Highly recommended.

Rottnest Island was an amazing day out with friends. The ferry ride over was calm and scenic, and the hop on hop off bus made exploring the island easy and relaxed. We stopped at beautiful beaches, enjoyed lunch and drinks at different venues, and soaked up the laid‑back atmosphere. Visiting the lighthouse was a standout with incredible views, and learning about the island’s history along the way added real depth to the experience. And of course, seeing the quokkas was a highlight as always. They bring so much charm to the day. A brilliant experience from start to finish with the perfect mix of scenery, history, wildlife, and easy exploring.

Absolutely brilliant day. Bikes could do with a tune up, but a bike is only as good as the legs pushing the pedals anyway. Would strongly recommend this trip. Beaches are amazing

Why a Rottnest Island skydive is worth it

Tandem skydive over Rottnest Island, Perth, with aerial view of coastline and landscape below.

Unparalleled scenic views

You get an unmatched aerial view of Rottnest Island and Western Australia’s coastline. From the plane, the island spreads out like a mosaic of white-sand beaches, turquoise shallows, inland salt lakes, and rugged headlands. The jump, although lasts for about 40 seconds, gives you a rare perspective you’d never see from the ground.

Soft beach landing experience

You also get the rare chance to land right on one of Rottnest’s sandy bays either Salmon Bay or Thomson Bay. Unlike traditional drop zones on hard or uneven terrain, these soft beach landings feel gentler, safer, and far more memorable. Touching down on warm sand, with the ocean just steps away, is truly a sight to remember.
